Topic: The Anointing

Scripture: 1 John 2:27

Today is a special day the Lord has made that we his children should rejoice and be glad in it. Hallelujah!!! Today's message, "the anointing" is very significant in the life of every believer. 1 John 2:27 admonishes us; [27]But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. In this scripture, we are being taught that, when we are anointed we don't need any other teaching or instructions because the anointing teaches you and gives you knowledge (1 John 2:20).

It's the Lord that anoints and he pours out his spirit in any flesh he anoints (Joel 2:28). So you see why when the anointing comes upon you, you don't need to be taught? The spirit of God teaches all things and brings to our remembrance the things God has said concerning us. It is the same spirit that abides in you when you receive the anointing. 

When we speak of the anointing, we speak of a specific assignment. Let's remember that we've been anointed to apply the anointing with fresh oil to heal the sick and cast out demons (Mark 6:13). We are anointed to be kings (1 Samuel 16:13). We are anointed to perform miracles (Acts 19:11-12). Proverbs 3:6
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Make the spirit of God your guide and acknowledge him always. Hallelujah!!!!

Prayer:
Thank you spirit of God for the inspiration. I pray for fresh anointing to execute an assignment for God. May I not miss the opportunity to work for you in the name of our Lord Jesus!!! AMEN

POSITION: FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT BIOGRAPHY Richard Nana Yaw Addae , Founder and President of the International Christian Youth Fellowship (ICYF) is a Ghanaian, born and raised in Accra in the Greater Accra region. Richard hails from Wusuta in the Volta Region of Ghana.
